Whois Privacy Protection in Shared Website Hosting
If you get a shared website hosting plan from our company, you will be able to enable Whois Privacy Protection for any of your domains if their extensions support the service. You can register/transfer a domain name and add Whois Privacy Protection during the signup procedure or you can activate the service for any of your domain names at any time later via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The process is exceptionally easy – after you sign in, you’ll need to visit the Registered Domains section where you will find a list of all the domain names that you’ve registered with us. For each of them you’ll see an “Whois Privacy Protection” icon, which will inform you whether the service is activated or not. By clicking it, you can either Whois Privacy Protect the domain, or you can deactivate the service if it is currently active.
Whois Privacy Protection in Semi-dedicated Servers
Ordering Whois Privacy Protection for any domain is stunningly easy if you have a semi-dedicated server. As long as the domain is registered through us, it will be displayed in the Registered Domains section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel that is included with every semi-dedicated server package. In case a specific generic or country-code Top-Level Domain supports Whois Privacy Protection, you’ll see a tiny icon to the right of that domain. To activate the Whois Privacy Protection service, you will have to click on it. In the same fashion, you can also renew or remove the service. You can activate Whois Privacy Protection for a domain during the registration process as well, but since the Whois Privacy Protection service is optional, we will give you the chance to add it to any of your domains at a later point in time in case you change your mind and opt to hide your personal details from the public eye after you have already created the account.
